Amanda bauer, owner + Stylist
Amanda has been doing hair since 2013, where she started at Bob Roy. In May 2018 she opened Beck + Brix. She’s overwhelmed with gratitude for all those that followed and have stayed. She’s a sarcastic, mother of two boys Becken and Brixton. You’ll find them all at the beach, if not at the salon.
kelly rufca, stylist
Senior stylist, Kelly Rufca, has been in the beauty Industry for almost a decade. She started her career at a prominent South Bay salon where she received extensive training in cutting, coloring, highlighting, styling and balayage. Although it’s hard to pick a favorite skill, many of her clients would applaud her ability to lighten/balayage/foilage/highlight hair. She continues to further her education by attending courses with Wella, Bumble & Bumble, Redken and celebrity stylist educators. Kelly has a passion for healthy hair, and will always take the steps necessary to maintain the integrity of her clients’ hair while giving them a beautiful, fresh look! Outside of the salon, Kelly enjoys spending time with her twin boys and baby girl and her husband, Mitch. They enjoy weekend getaways to wine country, spending time at the beach, and exploring all that the South Bay has to offer!
lisa golebiowski, stylist
Lisa was born and raised in the South Bay and has been a stylist in the beach cities for 20 years! She has an extremely loyal clientele that followed her from Bob Roy Salon in Manhattan Beach to Beck + Brix in Hermosa. From color and highlights to gorgeous blowouts, Lisa does it all. She has a specific talent for men’s haircuts; chances are, if you see a man walking down a street in Hermosa, Lisa cuts his hair! When she’s not at the salon she can be found spending time with her husband Steve and their two beautiful children. Lisa’s knack for doing beautiful hair as well as her calm and quiet demeanor, make her a valuable part of the Beck + Brix family.
Jenine brown, stylist
Jenine Brown began her career at the famed salon Sally Hershberger at John Frieda in Los Angeles. Having completed her apprenticeship under Celebrity Colorist Tracey Cunningham, she developed a refined eye for detail and creativity very early in her career. A true expert with over twenty years of experience, she’s worked not only at top Los Angeles salons including John Frieda, Art Luna, and Neil George, but with some of Hollywoods most famous and celebrated faces. After over a decade of working in Los Angeles, Jenine took her talents to the South Bay where she has amassed a true and loyal following. You may view more of Jenine’s work at @jeninebrownhair.
diana henson, stylist
Diana is an Oregon native that started her career in Utah, graduating from Aveda Institute. She has worked in California since 2017 providing a variety of services, including haircuts and highlights which are her favorites. She believes a good healthy haircut and color helps to emphasize each other and makes your hair shine! Diana also enjoys singing, playing with her niece and nephew, and spending time with her husband.

Sara Aquilino is a longtime South Bay resident who started her career at the Vidal Sassoon Academy in Santa Monica, California. She immediately felt a passion for color, as well as finishing the overall look with the haircut and styling. She specializes in beautiful brunettes, sun-kissed, beachy balayage, and naturally enhanced blondes. Sara thrives on involving the client in the consultation and overall process of obtaining their total satisfaction. She has continued her education throughout her career.
sarah mccammon, stylist
Sarah McCammon is a South Bay native, growing up in redondo beach. Sarah just knew she had a knack for doing hair, having practiced on her little sisters and their friends, doing prom hair for years. After spending 2 years at El Camino College, where she met her husband Kyle (they now have 2 darling children), Sarah enrolled in the prestigious Paul Mitchell The School Costa Mesa. Walking into Paul Mitchell, Sarah knew these were “her people.” Creating a strong foundation in beauty school, Sarah went on to work at Bob Roy Salon in Manhattan Beach for 14 years, and continues to seek education from top salon brands and stylists. Sarah loves sun-kissed highlights and long layers, giving her clients a real beach babe vibe! In addition, she specializes in custom coloring for grey coverage. Sarah is happy to be part of the Beck + Brix family, and is grateful for the loyal clientele who continue to visit her year after year.

Kelly Lesko, stylist
Kelly is from Michigan and has been a hairstylist for over 12 years, she started her journey at the Douglas J Aveda Institute and continued to work for the company, where she assisted and shadowed some of the best stylists in her area. She continued her training with Vivianne Mackinder where she learned the art of precision cutting and dove deeper into various styling techniques. Fast forward to now, she enjoys and loves all aspects of hair and some of her favorite things to work on are lived in colors, blonding, and low maintenance styles, while maintaining the health of the hair. She is also certified in all types of Bella mi hair extension methods. When she is not busy in the salon she enjoys spending time in nature, hiking and backpacking with her husband, practicing yoga, and spending time with her dogs.
Allie BlythE
Allie moved to the South Bay in 2020 from Meridan, MS. Allie has always had a love for styling, which led to her interest in starting a career in cosmetology. She completed the cosmetology program at Aveda Institute Los Angeles. Allie provides a variety of services including extensions, color, highlights, event styling, and cuts. When Allie is not at work she’s either at home snuggling with her cats, spending time with friends, or on the beach soaking up the sunshine. You may view her work at @allieblythehair.
Erin McLoughlin, Reception
Erin is a local who has been with us since the beginning. She is the friendly face you’ll see every time you come in. She recently had a baby boy and we are glad to have her back!
Alyssa Meers, Reception
Alyssa joins us from the East Coast by way of Australia. She works full-time as a project manager for a travel company, and joined the B+B team as a receptionist to become more involved in the Hermosa Beach community. She hopes to create a pleasant and memorable experience for clients and stylists alike, and wants everyone who walks in the door to feel at home.
